Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

Job Summary

The Pre-Sales Solutions Architect is the primary source of technical expertise for both the AI Foundry (AIF) Sales team and prospective and current customers. The role requires deep technical knowledge and hands-on capabilities, problem solving skills, presentation ability, business understanding, and a passion to constantly learn and adapt new technologies and methodologies. The successful candidate will join the solution architects team in a fast paced environment with great growth opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Function as a technical expert and a critical part of our sales team
  • Work with other solution architects to deliver successful Demonstration of Concept (DOCs) on time
  • Propose and design technical solutions tailored to client’s needs, based on AIF solutions
  • Create and edit scopes of work for prototypes and DOCs
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and partners
  • Provide technical and domain expertise throughout the sales process
  • Achieve and surpass sales objectives, and work with others to ensure successful implementation of software solutions
  • Relay client feedback and requirements to Product Management in the form of business requirements and use case documents
  • Coordinate smooth transition of newly signed customers with AIF Customer Delivery and Support teams

Skills and/or Knowledge Specifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar pre-sales role, professional services, or software engineering role
  • Ability to work in a team and one-on-one with AIF sales personnel
  • Solid written, verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Exceptionally strong technical trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Solid written, verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, result-driven environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Desired Knowledge Specifications

  • Excellent knowledge of Windows, Web technologies
  • Ideal candidates will have strong GUI, general application integration and programming skills
  • Knowledge or background in ECM, Documents Capture and Workflow, Enterprise Search and Data Integration technologies
  • Comfort operating in Windows and Azure environments
  • Experience developing in .Net / VB
  • Experience with databases and SQL
  • Experience integrating applications

Eduation and/or Experience Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution
